This month, the Plus Size Outfit Day’s theme is “Get ready for saturday night”. Truth to be told, I spend a lot of my saturday nights in my pyjamas in bed, watching TV with Sven [we're still hooked on "The Voice"] or meeting friends [most of the time not in my pyjamas, but still dressed rather casual]. But I do love every occasion I get to dress up!
So when we decided to visit the casino with friends on a saturday some weeks ago, I knew which outfit I would share for this theme.
For some added fun, we also took some pictures of the process of getting ready this time. First of all, I need to know what I’ll wear – on my body as well as on my fingernails. I chose last year’s Christmas / New Year’s Eve dress, my new red shoes and a sparkly nail polish – and of course, red lipstick, because what’s more glamorous than bright red lips? Exactly, nothing.
Das Oktober-Thema des Plus Size Outfit Days ist “Get ready for saturday night”. Ehrlicherweise muss ich zugeben, dass ich viele Samstagabende im Schlafanzug verbringe und mit Sven im Bett Serien schaue [gerade sind wir immer noch ganz begeistert von "The Voice"] oder wir uns mit Freunden treffen [wobei ich zwar nicht meinen Schlafanzug, aber doch eher gemütliche Sachen trage]. Einer Gelegenheit, mich ein bisschen mehr aufzubrezeln, kann ich aber nie widerstehen!
Als wir uns an einem Samstag vor ein paar Wochen entschieden, mit Freunden ins Casino zu gehen, war mir direkt klar, dass ich euch heute dieses Outfit präsentieren würde.
Dieses Mal haben wir auch ein paar Bilder vom Prozess des Fertig-machens für euch. Zu allererst muss ich mich entscheiden, was ich trage – sowohl an meinem Körper als auch auf meinen Fingernägeln. Ich habe mir mein Weihnachts-/Silvester-Kleid vom letzten Jahr ausgesucht, meine neuen roten Schuhe sowie glitzernden Nagellack – und natürlich roten Lippenstift. Gibt es etwas glamouröseres als leuchtend rote Lippen? Ich finde nicht.

Das Kleid ist wunderschön und steht dir hervorragend, die ganze Kombination ist perfekt und unterstreicht deinen Typ. Und JA es gibt nichts mehr glam als ein roter Lippenstift.

I actually bought it a size too big… It’s pretty big, but you can give it some shape with a belt.
