Hey!
I’m Katha & it’s so nice to meet you!
When I’m not busy picking out something to wear from my huge piles of nothing to wear or deciding on what I’ll eat next, I’m usually trying to program something – yep, I study computer science.
I like nerdy things. I like girly things. Actually, I like quite a lot of things.
Here’s a list:
♥ dressing up! [Here's my outfit archive]
♥ All the little, beautiful moments of the everyday life [my snaps of happiness]
♥ baking & cooking [see some of my favorite recipes here]
♥ exploring the world [you can find my previous trips here]
♥ creating something cute [you can see DIYs I did here]
♥ photography
♥ keeping lists
♥ stationery
♥ watching movies
♥ reading
♥ nail polishes and everything else beauty-related

- that’s my blog!
I love reading blogs, especially the ones that try to make life happier and the blogosphere a friendly and beautiful place. Body-positive blogs always stood out for me: I don’t believe that there’s the right bodytype. I am absolutely positive that you can look and – what’s far more important – feel beautiful no matter what your bodyshape is.
I started kathastrophal in August 2011 to become an active part of this amazing blogging world. Here in my little corner of the internet, I want to show you what I did, what I wore and what I love. It contains my outfits, recipes I’ve tried and loved, lists of share beautiful things, pictures from little trips around my neighbourhood or around the world and a lot of other fun things. Enjoy your stay! ♥
All of the pictures on here, unless otherwise noted, were taken either by me or by my boyfriend Sven.
If you want to use them anywhere else, please ask first!
Why “Katha Strophe”/”kathastrophal”?
My name is Katharina, but my friends always call me Katha. I’ve been using “Katha Strophe”[=Katastrophe/catastrophe] on various online platforms for quite some time now – there are people who really think my last name is Strophe! So this blog is “kathastrophal” [=katastrophal/catastrophic] – hopefully that’s only the name, not the description…
Which camera do you use?
The pictures on here are either taken with Sven’s Canon EOS 600D or my iPhone.
