I wore this outfit to the christmas party of my office. I work there since november, it’s my new side job.
The party was very casual – we took a cooking class together, so no sequins and holiday dresses here. Though I wish for an occasion to wear [& justify spending money on] something like this or this… Instead, I wore what I’d normally wear to work and added patterned tights.
The party and the cooking class was a lot of fun, we cooked for hours until we finally got to eat our delicious menu. It was great to get to know the coworkers I haven’t met yet and to chat with everyone in a different setting. There was an open bar and later on, a coworker started to hit on me – cue first awkward moment on the new job. At least it fulfilled all of the clichés about a christmas party!

The deep purple is lovely, and the tights add some really fun texture to the outfit. What a fun idea to have a cooking class party!

Thank you!
13. Dezember 2011 um 07:30Great tights! You deserve the hitting-on (sorry, Sven!). I’m glad the ASOS site is down so I’m not tempted to buy something for MY office party.
13. Dezember 2011 um 03:07Haha, thank you 😀 I think Sven knows he has nothing to worry about.
I’m really tempted to buy the ASOS dress myself, though I really don’t know where to wear it. By the way, this grey dress from my christmas wishlist is sold out 🙁
