Top 5 D.I.Y.s I Need To Make Soon

Was sind eure liebsten Projekte?
Tuesdays are for Top 5s! I’m working on not one, not two, but three advent calendars at the same time. I haven’t crafted in quite a long time and it’s so much fun! So this week, I’m going to share some Do It Yourself – Projects that I’m hopefully going to recreate soon. This one started it all – my advent calendars are mainly inspired by Stef’s great idea. Wouldn’t these make perfect christmas gifts? My only problem: I don’t know what gel medium is called in German and I don’t know where to get it.. could one of you crafty German-speaking girls help me out? I love everything sweet. I love lace. Perfect project! Aren’t those pretty? A new favorite blog of mine.. And such a cute way to show your photographs.

This is SO going to happen in my future kitchen! All pictures are by the blogs I linked to! If you don’t want me to use your picture, please tell me so. Do you like to DIY? What are your favorite projects?

l.o.v.e. My little sister is turning 18 soon [I’m SO old…], which means Sven and I are going to visit my parents and see a lot of my relatives I haven’t seen in such a long time. I’m really happy that I don’t have to wait until christmas to see them. Little known fact about me: I don’t have a driving license. I was always too scared.. and I really never needed one. I’m still scared, but now I found someone my age who doesn’t have his license, either. Yesterday, we’ve decided that we’re going to start taking driving lessons together next summer, and even though that’s so far away I’m excited! It’s true! Every visitor and every comment on this little baby of mine makes me so happy. Sven’s already making fun of me because of that, but I couldn’t care less. Thank you for reading my blog! ♥
What makes you happy right now?
l.o.v.e. He always does. ♥ Please excuse my bragging – but I passed my test! I was done before time was up and I got every single point… Yay yay yay yay yay :] I really couldn’t believe it, I failed so hard last year and now this. It was in C, otherwise known as „The Programming Language That Really Messes With My Head“. I couldn’t stop smiling all day yesterday.. my friends called me eager beaver, but nothing could destroy my mood. Top 5 Blog-Inspirations

In uncategorized
am 08. November 2011
Tuesdays are for Top 5s! I can’t even remember when I started to read blogs… Seems like years ago! I love all the inspiration you get from all over the world, and all the great ideas and possibilities you probably wouldn’t hear of otherwise. For this week, I decided to show you five of the blogs that I love most – these ladies inspired me to start blogging and I can’t recommend to read all their blogs highly enough!
♥ ♥ ♥ Gala Darling ♥ ♥ ♥
Gala Darling This was one of the first blogs I read… Gala says about herself that she’s on a mission to spread radical self-love throughout the universe – and her blog is filled with every detail this includes. You can find lots of list (♥ !) with great advice and all sorts of things to make you happy. I could browse through her archives for days and I just love her positive take on life. ♥ Very Definitely Not Dinner & A Movie: 50 Alternative First Date Ideas! The Radical Self Love Manifesto! We Got Married… This Is Our Story!
♥ ♥ ♥ A Beautiful Mess ♥ ♥ ♥
A Beautiful Mess Elsie Larson is a designer, owner of a vintage shop and the author behind this beautiful blog. I guess she never sleeps – she produces fabulous D.I.Y. project after fabulous D.I.Y. project! Her blog is also filled with lots of great outfit posts, recipes, a lot of insider infos about her shop, Red Velvet, and more. Every new post is such a huge inspiration! ♥ I loved everything about Elsie’s and Jeremy’s wedding – you can read about it here ♥ my favourite feature: Vintage Makeover Stories ♥ the huge D.I.Y. archives
♥ ♥ ♥ magnoliaelectric ♥ ♥ ♥
magnoliaelectric This blog is written in German, but well worth a look even if you don’t speak the language! I’ve known Stef online for a really long time and she’s such a lovely girl. She started her blog last year, and by now it’s filled with a lot of fantastic posts. Her photographs are breath-taking and her eye for details is phenomenal! She shows the most amazing recipes and D.I.Y. projects… you should definitely follow her blog, it will make you happy 🙂 ♥ take a look at these great D.I.Y. – projects! ♥ She takes the most beautiful pictures – like these on vaction. ♥ I love reading about Stef’s passion for books.
♥ ♥ ♥ Already Pretty ♥ ♥ ♥
alreadypretty Sally McGraw describes her own blog as a daily style and body image blog and uses the tagline „helping you recoqnize your own beauty, one post at a time“ – I couldn’t have said it better. She shows her awesome outfits and writes really great and helpful articles about style and body image that she illustrates with her own outfits. I love that she never claims that there are any set rules and instead encourages the reader to question every so-called fashion rule. ♥ Sally’s mission statementWhat IS Flattering? What Belting Can Do For You
♥ ♥ ♥ Relatable Style ♥ ♥ ♥
relatablestyle Lili is also German, but blogs in English – this encouraged me to do so as well! As her blog title says, she wants to show her take on a style that is relatable… and I think her style is really adorable. I also love her tagline: „Your body is not a temple, it’s an amusement park. Enjoy the ride!“ :] From time to time, she writes some fun features like Inspiration Monday and Everybody Everywear where she always comes up with fantastic outfits. ♥ I loved her Wedding Guest Attire Guide. ♥ My favourite feature: Inspiration Mondy ♥ Such a great outfit!
I hope you found some new blogs for your readers :] Which blogs inspire you the most?
