Happy Valentine’s Day, Lovelies! I hope you have a fantastic day. Why not wear one of your favourite dresses today and make yourself happy? This one combines so many of my favourite things: Lace! Poldakots! Printed Lace! Fuller Skirt! Little Cutout in the back! It’s a lot, and it’s absolutely perfect to me. I saved it for a special occasion – it had been hanging in my wardrobe for four months before I finally wore it on New Year’s Eve. It would be a perfect outfit for Valentine’s Day if I was going out with friends or my Valentine. But since Sven and I are spending the day lounging around, studying, maybe cooking something special and watching movies or series, I’ll probably spend the best part of the day in my pyjamas. No shame! What are your plans? What will you be wearing?

Fröhlichen Valentinstag, meine Lieben! Ich wünsch euch einen schönen Tag.
Heute ist die perfekte Gelegenheit, mal wieder ein Lieblingskleid auszuführen – für sich selbst! Dieses hier kombiniert einige meiner größten Lieben: Spitze! Punkte! Aufgedruckte Spitze! Weiter Rock! Schönes Rückendetail! Es ist ziemlich viel, und es ist einfach perfekt für mich. Ich habe einige Zeit auf die richtige Gelegenheit gewartet, um es zu tragen – es hing schon fast vier Monate in meinem Kleiderschrank, bevor ich es an Silvester das erste Mal ausgeführt habe.
Für ein Valentinstagsoutfit wäre es meine erste Wahl, wenn ich mit Freunden oder meinem Liebsten ausgehen würde. Aber da Sven und ich den Tag ganz gemütlich verbringen, mit Lernen, Serien/Filmen schauen und vielleicht noch etwas aufwändiger kochen, werde ich wohl den Großteil des Tages im Schlafanzug verbringen und schäme mich auch kein bisschen dafür.

Let’s start with the obvious: I love polkadots. I love dresses with cardigans. These pictures weren’t taken recently.
I just found these outfit pictures sitting on my computer… When we visited Sven’s parents in september, we drove around a little bit and found this beautiful maize field. Perfect photo location on such a lovely, sunny day. I really miss the sunshine at the moment – but I’m also looking forward to snow and christmas markets. There’s beauty in every season!
By the way, we didn’t run into a chain saw killer. I never ever watch any horror movies, but I heard that’s quite a common problem in maze fields…

Zunächst ein paar offensichtliche Dinge: Ich liebe gepunktete Sachen. Ich liebe Kleider mit Cardigans. Diese Bilder sind nicht neu. Ich hab die Outfitbilder gerade auf meiner Festplatte gefunden… Als wir im September bei Svens Eltern waren, sind wir ein bisschen herumgefahren und haben dieses schöne Maisfeld gefunden. Super Fotolocation an so einem tollen, sonnigen Tag. Im Moment vermisse ich die Sonne sehr – aber ich freu mich auch auf Schnee und auf Weihnachtsmarkttouren. Es gibt doch einfach an jeder Jahreszeit etwas schönes! Übrigens sind wir keinem Kettensägenmörder begegnet. Ich schaue zwar nie-niemals Horrofilme, aber ich habe gehört dass das in Maisfeldern nicht unüblich ist…

Dressing for our blogger meetup made me feel a little under the pressure… I initially wanted to wear something I’ve never worn on the blog before and even went shopping just because of that. But when I tried on some of my things the night before, I realized that I definitely have enough clothes and chose to wear my skirt that I’ve already shown. I felt great in this outfit, so I guess it was the right decision. 🙂 The pretty bracelet is handmade by lovely Mia – such a cute idea! Die Kleiderfrage für unser Bloggertreffen hat mich ein bisschen gestresst… Anfänglich wollte ich etwas tragen, das ich noch nicht auf dem Blog gezeigt habe und ging sogar extra deswegen einkaufen. Doch als ich ein paar Sachen anprobierte, habe ich glücklicherweise erkannt dass ich wirklich genug Klamotten habe und mich für diesen Rock entschieden, den ich euch hier bereits präsentiert habe. Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt, also war das wohl die richtige Entscheidung. 🙂 Das hübsche Armband hat die liebe Mia für uns gemacht – so eine süße Idee!
