Highlights of my birthday week:
♥ My birthday! [Totally non-obvious, huh?] After all these years, it still gets me so excited.
♥ I signed the contract for my internship on my birthday, too! :]
♥ A lot of my friends and relatives called or sent me messages and I felt so loved.
♥ We had a lovely little celebration with a barbecue, my favourite pasta salad, pizza rolls and muffins… and I plan another celebration in July with a brunch, because breakfast is the best.
♥ I told my friends not to give me any presents until the second celebration, but I still got some really nice things: nail polish, photographs, and “How I Met Your Mother” on dvd.
♥ Sven gave me the cutest present – a trip to the North Sea and a handbag. He really read my wishlist and even used the numbers to describe my presents in his letter. Awww! ♥
Besonders schöne Bestandteile meiner Geburtstagswoche:
♥ Mein Geburtstag! [Wie überraschend, hm?] Auch nach all den Jahren freue ich mich immer noch so sehr darauf.
♥ Ich hatte noch mehr Grund zur Freude, denn an dem Tag durfte ich auch den Arbeitsvertrag für mein Praktikum unterschreiben! :]
♥ Die Anrufe und Nachrichten von meinen Freunden und Verwandten haben dafür gesorgt, dass ich mich sehr geliebt gefühlt habe.
♥ Wir haben ein wenig gefeiert mit Grillen, meinem Lieblings-Nudelsalat, Pizzaschnecken und Muffins nach diesem Rezept… und im Juli habe ich noch eine zweite Feier mit einem Brunch, weil brunchen einfach das Beste ist!
♥ Ich habe meinen Freunden zwar gesagt, dass sie mir erst bei der zweiten Feier etwas schenken sollen, aber natürlich haben sie trotzdem etwas für mich gehabt: Nagellack, Fotos und “How I Met Your Mother” auf Dvd.
♥ Von Sven habe ich das allerschönste Geschenk bekommen – eine Reise an die Nordsee und eine Handtasche. Er hat meine Wunschliste wirklich genau gelesen und in seinem Brief sogar die Nummern daraus benutzt, um die Geschenke zu beschreiben. Awww! ♥

There isn’t much talk in blog-land about being a non-believer. There’s a lot of religious talk, a lot of “I believe,” and many beautiful sentiments about life and thoughts and talk of whatever god people want to put their faith into.
I really liked to hear the view of another non-believer, and the comments are worth a read too. [Sometimes Sweet]

♥ Tolle Youtube-Beauty-Kanäle, bei denen man mal reinschauen sollte, wenn man die Zeit findet… ich hab mich ja ein bisschen in essiebutton verliebt. [Schminknerd] <- Wie toll ist der Name denn bitte? Und die Dame dahinter sowieso!
