Ina’s blog Cityglamblog / What Ina loves is one of my favourites. She always shows amazing recipes with gorgeous, detail-oriented photos, parts of her travels and all the small, fantastic everyday things. Her blog is written in German, but you should still visit… even if it’s only to look at all the lovely pictures! Today Ina shares a recipe that tastes good in any season: Pancakes, yum! I translated the recipe for you. kathastrophal // What Ina loves / cityglamblog Bestimmt kennen die meisten von euch Ina von Cityglamblog / What Ina loves bereits – ihr Blog ist super erfolgreich und bekannt.
Here’s the recipe in English: You’ll need (serves four):
  • 125 g flour (sieved)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 150 ml milk
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (not necessary, but I love it!)
  • if you like it really sweet: 80 g sugar
  • butter or oil to sear
Mix all the ingredients and leave the dough stand for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Place oil or butter in a frying pan and place little bits of dough in it as well (I usually make 3 pancakes at once). Brown the pancakes on each side for about 2 minutes. I like them the best served with caramel sauce (for example this Bonne Maman one) and freshly chopped banana slices. (Or fresh fruit, or …) Thank you so much for this great recipe, Ina! ♥ Danke für dieses tolle Rezept, liebe Ina! ♥ [I’m on vacation right now. You can follow along on Instagram if you’d like!
