This is what I wore yesterday. I love wearing my new clothes!
The skirt is quite warm and has this beautiful, rich colour. I think it worked quite well with this turquoise T-Shirt. Colourful Clothes make me so happy :]
You can see my new haircut and -colour, too.. Nothing spectacular, but I still like it. It turned out a little darker than what I expected, now it’s a lot closer to my natural haircolour.
On Friday night, I attended a birthday party and another farewell party of co-workers. Both parties were a lot of fun, but I was a little disappointed that nobody mentioned my new haircut… Yes, I’m vain like that ;]
We slept in on saturday, went grocery shopping [lots of fruit and vegetables because Sven felt a little groggy] and relaxed. In the evening, we met some friends and strolled around our city because there were some halloween campaigns and beautiful fireworks.
Today I woke up, looked at the time on my mobile phone, then on Sven’s and was really confused that there was a difference of an hour… I forgot that daylight saving time ended today [in Germany]. I always forget about that! But the weekend lasts for another hour this way, so I won’t complain this time. We had breakfast in bed, dyed my hair, took a lot of photos for my blog, cooked lunch/dinner and now we’re off to see The Adventures of Tintin in 3D. ♥
♥ Look at this amazing costume! I love that movie. [Fashion Dynamite]
♥ I had to laugh so much about this list of crazy lip balms. [Unapologetically Mundane]
♥ Another list: Fifteen Fall Favourites. Stunning photographs! [magnoliaelectric]
♥ Love this DIY idea: glitter heels for one night [Katjusha Dawai]
♥ Gala Darling is amazing. So inspiring!
♥ Body positivity at it’s best. Love it! [XL as life]
♥ A new blog I love: On Ironing and Irony.
Hope you had a great weekend as well!
This week, I got three packages in the mail. I love getting mail!
All of them were filled with wonderful things.
I ordered a starter kit with moisturising products that contained sample sizes of the Moisture Surge face spray, the Moisture Surge Thirst Relief cream/gel and the All About Eyes eye cream.
They’re really good for dry skin, and All About Eyes is the best eye cream I ever used.
I also got a sample size of the Long Last Glosswear Lipgloss in 10 – Air Kiss and try-ons of their 3-Step skincare system for free :]
On my lips [right picture]:
I ordered online at clinique.de. The package was delivered two days later and I didn’t have to pay for shipping. The online shop is very clearly arranged, I liked it a lot.
The GlossyBox is a beauty box – it costs 10€ a month and contains 5 miniature beauty products. They claim that the products are high-end, but that’s not always the case. This month, I was really happy with my selection:
- Clarins Soins Eclat Radiance Booster Set
- L’Oréal Professionnel Volume Expand hair mask
- OPI nail laqueur in “You don’t know Jaques”
- Moroccanoil oil treatment for dry hair
- Misslyn Sweet Lips lipgloss [full product]
Here’s me wearing the Misslyn lipgloss [on the right]:
I’ve been wanting to try OPI nail polishes for so long, but I think they’re quite expensive.. so I’m really excited! Also, I’ve heard lots of good things about the oil treatment and the Clarins products, so I’m really happy that I’m now able to try them myself.
I love ASOS Curve, they’ve got really beautiful clothes for plus sizes. Now that Asos finally launched a German online shop and doesn’t charge for shipping, I finally placed my first order. They were really quick, I ordered on Thursday night and my package arrived today.
I ordered 4 items:
I’m really happy with them. I’ll be posting pictures of my outfits as soon as I wear them :]
